my doc always says to do liquids for a few days (I usually manage 2) then mushies and slowly pick up normal food again. Be really careful as you may find certain foods more difficult post fill.

Good luck.

Kathy.

I'm advised to do two days of full liquids after a fill and then two days of soft food. I usually make it through one day and then half of the second day before I eat something soft. Once I see how the liquids go down, I have a fairly good idea of how soft food will go, but as I try each food, I go slow to see how I react. Go slow after a fill is my motto. Once you get stuck or vomit it can set up a cycle of repeating itself as the esophogus gets irritated.
