Hi, I'm new and am thinking about lap band surgery. I have found 2 doctors in Lubbock that perform lap band surgery...Dr. Job Buschman and Dr. David Hall. Has anyone used either of them and what was your experience? Thanks.

I have heard that Dr. Hall is good. He has been doing them for a long time. I used to live just south of Lubbock in Brownfield, Texas. He was just started to use the band in 1999 when they first came out. That is about all I know.

I have been banded 6 months as of today.

Hello, I don't live far from Lubbock and called a couple of doctors in Lubbock to check prices. I know one of them was Dr. Hall. I remember that the prices were between $14,000 & $16,000. I am going to go to Dr. Guillermo Alvarez in Mexico on the 9th of May. It is costing me $6900 there. I haven't found a doctor up here yet to do fills though.

yes I had the procedure performed on May 9, 2008 and Dr. Guillermo Alvarez did it.

I had my surgery done in Lubbock on NOvember 12, 2008. Dr. David Hall was my Dr. I would highly recommend him! He and his staff are all wonderful, caring people! My experience was wonderful!!
