Hi Bob. Welcome! I hope that all goes well with you through the processes. It can take quite awhile before finally reaching the day of your surgery. Good luck to you in your journey.

I'm from NY - near Cornell University - 50 year old woman and was banded 11/5/07 by Dr. Moon. I've lost around 22 pounds so far. It's been a slow process but still, I'm not gaining either. :-) That's a good thing. Take care and I look forward to seeing your progress on here.

MNbob...welcome. There is a Minnesota thread on here somewhere. I am from MN also. Should be banded in May or June by Dr. Fortier from Long Prairie, MN. Good luck to you during your banding process
