All the way from Colorado

Hi guys and gals! I'm new to the site and relatively new to my band. (I've had it for right about 2 months now). I just wanted to introduce myself and see whether there were other folks from the Rockies around here.

A bit about myself.... Well, i'm originally from Florida and moved to Colorado a little over a year ago. After dealing with weight issues my entire life (but only having had them become a major problem since college) i finally decided it wasn't going to happen without a little help, and bit the bullet and got the lap band. Of course, with the husbands support.

I got my second fill yesterday, and am stuck on fluids for the time being. I think i might just be swollen but i'm going to give myself through the weekend to see whether i might be able to eat by monday. Dr. Snyder was my surgeon and he and all his staff have been great.

Since my surgery two months ago i've lost 25lbs and am working hard to remove the rest. ( i think this fluid diet i'm currently on will probably facilitate another couple lbs! )

I've met some great friends since moving, but i'm always open to meet new peeps, so please feel free to drop me a line anytime!

Cheers,

cherry
