ATTENTION LBT:

TONIGHTS SUPPER WILL BE AT MARIE'S HOUSE!!!

Marie, how -so very- kind of you! You really dont have to do this, but gosh, in your great act of generosity, I definately cant refuse...

grilled pork chops? goodness, its been so long since Ive had this. Thank you so much... 6pm ok? ;)

Jamie, I'm a simple cook. I moisten them w/water, and sprinkle them w/ Tone's Canadian Steak Seasoning, then grill them on an outdoor gas grill. Just don't overcook them, so they'll stay moist. You can also moisten them w/worchestershire sause first (but they'll be saltier). I find that seasoning mix in a large container at our local Sam's...a little goes a long way. It's also great to use as a rub for a brisket.

Thanks for the tips!!! I've never tried that seasoning before... I'll get some and try it when I can eat real food again!!!!

Canadian & Crystal....YUM! What in the world is chinese dumplings?

and rootbeer popsicle? mmmmm, I love rootbeer!

Bandit - you cheated! ;-) doesnt matter who cooked it, I bet it was delish!

Ican't believe what you are all eating. I'm on my 11th day of liquids so anything sounds good. This thread is encouraging to me though because I thought I would never eat normal again after surgery. There's Hope!!!! By the way I had a optifast drink for supper.

Hey Paula, dim sum is what I think of when I hear "chinese dumpling," although I suppose a won ton would be more in keeping with dumpling. Dim sum are wonderful little tit-bits of Chinese delicasies. There have only been a few I've not liked, but I've also never had the nerve to try the chicken feet.

Tonight, brased lamb shank in a tomato and rosemary sauce, second half of the artichoke, and either the popcicle or a pudding.
