Very excited about being banded on 3/19

Hi Everyone, I am Denise and very excited to say that I finally got approved and will be banded in 10 days. My mom and aunt are both banded and lost weight very quickly about 20lbs a month. I just hope I got their genes. Well just wanted to introduce myself because I will be on here a lot.

Welcome to the group. I'm having my surgery the same day as you. We should keep in touch. I'm on a liquid diet(my doc requires 2 weeks of liquids before the procedure). How's it going? I'm just a little nervous. More excited than anything. Wish the 19th would just get here already!!!!:sneaky:

Hi MsHansy:

I know what you mean. I am a week behind in band date, but I am still very excited. This website it my new addiction. (j/k)

Come on over to the support group section and hit the March, 2008 link. There are quite a few of us on that board all going through similar things. Everyone is real friendly and open about answering questions.

Welcome the March bandsters club!
