Before and after pic observation

People do not look very happy in their before. They smile really big for their after. I am down 21 pounds in three weeks since my banding and I smile every time I put on my belt. It is on the last hole and I will be buying a new one soon.

It's surprising what weight loss can do for the mind and spirit. Happy that you are smiling! I smiled this morning also. Had not weighed in for 2 weeks. My first weigh in under 200lbs. Started at 236 and not banded yet. Mr surgeon likes the weight loss first. Have a couple of months to go and really tired of being hungry. But, I smile each time I put on a t shirt that is 2 sizes smaller. Good luck to you and keep smiling

I was stopped on the way in to my building at work by two people (one I didn't even know) yesterday who commented on how much weight they noticed I had lost. All I could do was smile and smile and smile. I look into mirrors now. I look at my body naked now (always averted my eyes and ran past the mirrors before!) and I don't wince. My scale is my best friend now (hadn't had one in my house for thirty years before this!). Now I will probably have to have plastic surgery on my face for all the lines and wrinkles I will get from just the smiling!!!!;)

I've noticed that too. Personally, at my highest weight, I hated having my picture taken. It was like I couldn't hide from my size when I saw a picture of myself. I'm still a bit camera shy...but I'm starting to really bond with my mirrors!!! LOL!!
