I just noticed I'm making the best complaint ever!

I just got off my scale and realized that I am upset that I'm only losing about 1 pound a week. HAHA! I love that complaint. To think that before this I was lucky not to gain one pound a week- forget about losing it! Anyone else notice this complaint of themselves?

I love my band!!:)

Great job Anyalee...it's hard to be patient, you're right...but as long as the scale is going in the right direction, you're doing great!

Amen to that! I was kindof grumbling at myself the other day because I didn't think I had lost much...I just felt like I was writing the same thing down every day, give or take a pound...I looked on my log (which is priceless to keep...it gives you a great reality check!) and lo and behold I've lost about 10 pounds in the last 2 months. I'm at my all time lowest weight since 1987. WOW. And still going! And I am even more amazed considering I am within 10 pounds of my goal...that I am STILL managing to lose, albeit slower...but no complaints here!

Here's another plus. For every one pound lost, there is a 3 pound decrease in pressure on weight bearing joints. Slow and steady wins the race. You're all doing great.

I am just now at the weight I was when I had my last child in (ooops, I'm severely dating myself!) ta-da! 1967!!!

Yes, Anyalee, you are so right about this 'complaint'--now that you mention it--because my scale only ticked upward before my Band and so why am I so upset now when I don't come down 3 pounds at a time??!!!

Praise the Lord for the Band! I now feel healthier and happier than I have in years (duh, since 1967!!)

Thank you for noting that - I needed it today! I'm in a nasty "bandster hell" plateau, but thank God - I'm at least NOT GAINING like I have for the past 10 years. And that is something to be excited about.
