Posting this here for any Jersey bandsters who might be interested. We're talking about a bash to be held the weekend of September 23-25 somewhere in NJ, close to the city. Just something to think about! A weekend of social events close to home with fellow bandsters traveling the same road.

I am doing the 5K walk Saturday morning and The Producers that afternoon (with Penni!!). I am staying with my aunt in the City who lives on 1st and 50-something on Friday night. Would anyone like to come over to my aunt's house on Friday night--she has a huge terrace---and we can have dinner out there and chat.

I'll be leaving Saturday evening.

so sorry about this but I am now not going to be able to make it to the East Coast this year - would dearly loved to have met all attending but circumstances beyond my control have forced me to change my plans.

dinner at 5:30pm works on Saturday. Christina, Kirsten and I will have gotten out of the matinee at 5p so we could meet you somewhere close to there. Kirsten will have to let us know what is available in that area. Michelle (La_madam) wanna come hang with us then?

"That area" is the theater district, and I can tell there are about a MILLION choices there. If you need me to, I can get recommendations from friends who work in Times Square. (I haven't been there in quite a while, and I'm sure everything has changed. If not, I'd suggest Ollie's for Chinese, a great restaurant with lots of room.)

Saturday at 5:30pm it is and yeah check out some places. Kirsten is doing the same thing. I don't care where we go to eat. I like all food. That is why I got banded. LOL!!!

Hi All!!

I have not been in touch in awhile ...I have read all summer but not really posted much. I worked at my summer camp all summer and just got the kids back to school. I squeezed in a two long weekends in Disney as my vacation and here I am it is Septmeber again! I just was in the city today for my fill and I can tell you it was great. The weather has been gorgeous here. The Rolling Stones are at the Garden tonight and the city was buzzing today. I actually stayed and shopped all afternoon and let the hubby get the kids from school and feed them. I considered trying to buy a ticket for the concert as I walked past the crowds gathering outside the Garden but the prices I was quoted were way too much!!! I went down the stairs to the train back to Jersey. I feel like I have some decent restriction. I went all summer the same weight within a few pounds . ....Anyway I would love to meet you guys let me know I would love to see you all in person and talk. I am still a closet bandster and the only time I really get to talk to anyone is in the office when I get fills. Of course this site is great too.. Let me know the details I am in- if you'll have me.
