Banded in Texas

Hi, I'm new to the forum and very glad to find such large site for lapbands. I got my lapband done in Houston with the same doctor that my sister used. She was banded on 12/12/07 and I finally got mine done on 12/21/07. I have lost 29 lbs. but hit a standstill last week as I didn't lose anything this past week. I did have alot of pain and discomfort after sugery and still have pain at the port site. My port is on the left, below my left breast just nearly right on my bra line, on top of my ribs. That has been the most painful part of my surgery. I'm hoping this will go away as it is very annoying at the moment. I'm also finding it hard to get my protein and water in each day. I'm looking forward to all the great information that everyone has shared on the site.:tt1:
