all I can suggest is just drink your water try not to think about it. I will be truthful though, I thought about what i wanted to eat as soon as I could use the blender. That was the best meal I think I had ever ate, and that's only because I waited so long to eat it.

hello there, how are you, I haven't been banded, but will be on 2/11 Gosh I start my pre-op diet tomorrow, I am really scared of the surgery...... It scares me to death..... I worry about afterwards too and wonder if I will want "FOOD" but I know I just can't do it... LOL LOL ..... I think having support is a big plus, soooooo If you would like to talk I would love to

Thanks for your reply. I know how you are feeling about the procedure. Take it from me, it was not as bad as I had built myself up to think. I wouldn't even say that it was painful. As I said though, I guess the thought of me not eating what I want when I want is the bummer. I've learned that it absolutely is a "mind thing" because I don't physically feel hungry at all. You will be just fine though..take it from someone who is a wuss when it comes to pain! Talk (type) to you soon!
