Surgery

Hello all,

I'm just wondering if most people are having outpatient surgery or inpatient? Are most people home within 24 hours or is an overnight stay usually required?

Thanks,

I think it mostly determined by your Dr, if there would be complications of course you would be kept overnight. I think the norm is outpatient. Be sure to check and see if your insurance requires an overnight for them to pay. I know one that does.

Thanks. I am going to have a co-pay either way, but it'll be cheaper if it's outpatient.

mine was in the US and my surgery was at 12 noon and required an overnight stay in the hospital. I am one week post op tomorrow and I feel FANTASTIC! I can't wait until I can see the results....I already feel different!
