Newbie from South Dakota

Hi everyone, My name is Connie and I'm from Mitchell, South Dakota.

I'm on my 2nd day of the optifast diet and finding it really hard to stick with it!...I've already cheated!

I'm having the lap-band on the 11th of January and am really starting to stress about it. I have my mind made up to do this and am looking forward to losing the weight but I'm feeling that I'm going to have to give up all the foods I love!!

Welcome to LBT!! First off, please DONT cheat on your pre-op diet,You are risking your life when you eat on the pre-o diet. You have to stick to that to the letter. You wont have to give up ALL the foods you love just the ones that are high calorie...you are strong and you can do this...believe it or not...we all have willpower in us and we CAN do this...we just need the lapband to help us with the portion control and help us lose a good amount of weight to get our energy up to get our butts in gear to exercise!!

I just dont anything to happen to you..so good luck on the pre-op diet and hope to hear updates very very soon!!

blessings to you and yours on this new year
