New Years Resolutions

HAPPY NEW YEAR! Just wondering if anyone has any resolutions they want to share. For years, I would always have the same ones...drop some weight and quit smoking. For the first time in a couple of decades, I don't have those anymore. I kinda feel a bit lost without those old reliable resolutions anymore. I am going to focus on a few positives in my life. Continue working out. Develop a stronger relationship w/ God. Focus on living a healthy life.

Anyone else have any resolutions or affirmations for the new year?

I was banded a week ago. Things seem to be going pretty well so far. I have lost 14 pounds. Next Saturday I start the mushy stage. Do you have any suggestions. I live in Orange County, CA. I am excited and a little scared as I begin this new chapter. How much have you lost and what is now a typical day of eating for you? Please share what will work and what will not work. Happy New Year!

Looking forward to a whole new healthy lifestyle for 2008 and onward! I am in the process of beginning my pre-op for Lap Band and I couldn't be more excited!

I am giving myself a lifestyle makeover. I have decided that 2008 is the year of Me. Its the year where I come first. My physical and mental health, financial stability, and education/career path are my top priorities.

I have promised myself that:

I will take my appearance more seriously

I will lose 100lbs in '08

I will write more

I will keep a cleaner house

I will be the star of my own life

Good luck with your goals this year!

Happy New Year!!!

I have a few resolutions that I plan to 110% stand by this yr!

* I plan to reach goal by this time next yr.!!!

* I plan to do more fundraisers and getting more donations for my animal rescue group so that we can help more animals make it out of shelters..80% of the animals that go to shelters die there....I want to change that!

* Focus on myself more, the more I lose the better I want to make myelf look!

Happy New Year to everyone...

1. Get my finances in better shape

2. Lose 20-25kgs

3. Be happier (whatever it takes)

4. Find a job I truly enjoy or love the one I have a bit more

My resolutions this year are pretty selfish but I have spent the last 37 years devoting my time and energy to my kids, husband and Mother. So 2008 is for me!

I want to be more productive and creative

Unfortunatly losing weight is still at the top of the list. I want to lose 50 lbs this year. Rather aggressive for me since I have only lost 50 in about 2 years.

I am going to take better care of myself in every way. I am 58 now and I need to hold back time in a serious way.

Get rid of clutter in my house, my body, my mind, my job and my relationship with my husband.

Happy 2008 and good luck to all.

......I intend to stop procrastinating so much.....but I keep putting it off......

Hah, that sounds familiar. It runs in my family, I think it's genetic (makes me feel better to blame it on the genes.)

Here are a few more:

1. Get to my goal weight by this time next year

2. Be more active

3. Make a budget to manage finances better

4. Finish my online courses and get my diploma

5. Keep a cleaner house

"Stop biting my nails" would normally be at the top of my list, but I stopped biting them a month ago. Yay me!
