I am having a hard time finding protein without whey or soy in them. I'm also allergic to nuts so that makes it even harder. My surgery is set for March 10th of this year. So I'm worried I'm not going to be able to find enough food or liquid protein to have after surgery. Because almost everybody only carries whey products. Has anybody else ran into this problem.

Vegan protein powders would be your best bet. Just avoid the soy ones. Are you okay with seeds as some vegan proteins use seeds (chia, sunflower, pumpkin, hemp) as a source of protein.
