Non-sweet clear protein

Does anyone have suggestions for a clear protein drink that fits into the immediate post-op clear diet guidelines that are not super sweet and horribly flavored? I am not a fan of sweet drinks and everything I’ve found so far tastes horrible. Thanks in advance!!

Protein water was my first thought. The change in our tastebuds (& sometimes sense of smell too) can make a lot of food & drinks taste terrible, overly sweet or salty. It’s only a temporary change but can make finding something palatable difficult. .

Congrats on your surgery.

I bought a bottle of protein water called "Ready" . I thought I'd try it and OMG - it was so darn sweet !!!! UGH !!! I don't know why companies make their products like that. I'm also hoping someone can suggest a good protein water. (Thanks for bringing up the topic )

I found this Isopure on Amazon. 20g protein and not too too sweet. I tried the tropical punch flavor (only bc it was the only one with overnight delivery, which I needed), and I can tolerate it. Not as pricey as some of the others, either.

I'm going to have to try that ! I looked it up and Walmart has it . Thanks Alycat23 !! ?

Get some vitamin water. Preferably the diet one. Low carbs and calories. The lemonade was the best one cold.

You can add unflavored protein powder to bone broth. It might even be okay with unsweetened herbal tea though I've never tried it.
