I thought my insurance was covering the sleeve, but since i was originally going to get the balloon, they still thought I was self pa after giving them my info they did not clarify with me! Self pay, the balloon would be $6900, BUT THE SLEEEVE IS OVER $13OOO SO NOW I'M WAITING ON APPROVAL. wHwhile MY SURGERY IS SCEDULED FOR the 27th, but it may need to be moved out further. ?

I just heard back from the office. I have to do two more supervised diets, meet a nutirtionist again before they can submit a prw auth. my surgery will be pushed back to March, maybe later.?

I just finished another virtual dietary appointment. I have to do one more in office appointment before they can to send the prior Auth to my insurance. I will not be having surgery on the 27th. That much is true, so I can stop the protein crap I've been eating and do a regular diet with real food. I just had an egg for lunch and I almost cried

Hello! I have one final appointment on March 16 before the auth request can be sent to my insurance. Looks like the hospital is scheduling out to the end of April. I hope to have a surgery date within the next month or so.

Ok I just heard back from the office today. My insurance has approved me for surgery! yay!
