I surpassed my goal weight by 2pounds! in March is my 9 month follow up. I was just thinking back to two weeks after my surgery when I ended up in the hospital with dehydration and not hitting my protein goals. Here a I am kicking ass and taking names.

Is it just me or has anyone's' taste buds changed? some things don't taste the same and savory things seem sweeter. Also, my parents don't believe e when I say I'm full. My mom is concerned I'm not eating enough. I don't want to go back to the thought of having to clear my plate or over eating.. It's just so very frustrating!

iT SUCks! i need an ultrasound to rule out gallbladder issurs an an upper GI to check for inflamation of the esophagus. I was supposed to be on a flight to Disney right now! Booo!

WEll, I did it! I reached a goal. my goal was 179 from 229 and i'm now 178.4! Also started on regular diet.

I've returned from the land of those out of it. I was severely dehydrated a week after the surgery and I'm back on track drinking and eating soft foods. I had to up the water game since were going to the beach this weekend. My sister is also taking me to Disney in October . She purposely made sure I was in the next level for eating. I am thankful she had the surgery before me.

Well there I was hoping tp gret this surgery in the butt better than my sister when Bang! It kicked me instead. i experirnced severe nausea and the most horrible dryheaving dtarting July 4th. I was admitted to the ER o th3 11th and released yesterday noe feeling more awake and ready to est sctually food. Just be careful and drink those fluids my friends!

ok I have founfd that sugar free cinnamon trident gum is very helpful wiyh helping my nausea.

I had my first appointment since the surgery. The scars are doing nicely. I weighed 213 before my surgery and today I weigh 207! yay! had my first pureed meal it was scrambled eggs and ok. I had a meatball for dinner. Not so great. My grocery order with chicken and tuna cams arrive tomorrow I hope to make egg salad and chicken/tuna salad. Mixing in some avocado into the eggs. is bread ok to have or does that just not sit well after this surgery? I just want buttered toast.

Hi friends! Just had my dietician appointment I am now on the pureed stage! I have never had any other milk but cow and I am a very picky person. What's the best tasting plant based milk for someone like me?

I know that theres not many options wghen surgery was just a week away but I'm sick of boullion and none broth. Is egg drop soup ok strained by chance?

I agree but I had a stroke five years ago and I think my taste buds changed from that so some things taste better like a choc vanilla swirl pudding and some no sugar popsicles by outshine are amazing!

Hello everyone! I'm here and surviving but trying to deal with those dang fast food commercials. My family has planned a beach vacation and I'll be hopefuly starting soft foods by then but I don't want to say until I know more at my weekly follow up visit on Wednesday. I'm trying to drink water and diluted fruit juice to keep mt bloodsugar upm but i'm sick of diluted juices. I have no patience on this whatsoever and I know I need it. I just keep going to get to my sister's point. She's a year out so I have a long way to go to get to her level.

yes. The sips for pills make my idigestion worse.

The surgery went very well, and drink apparently I had a hernia that was repaired. Handsome bone broth for dinner and trying o drink my water. My doctor has his patients drink 2oz of juice diluted with 2 oz of water Luckily I don't have much pain or cramping. And I learned my sister scheduled our summer vacation justintime for me to eat more decent foods,

I just had mine yesterday I slept a good deal toddy and felt a little nauseous

Surgery is tomorrow at 12:30 pm est. I'm equal parts excited and nervous.

My question is can I have a protein bar? I ask because it's slid and I want to be sure. I also found a choc chip protein cookie that tastes good and I want to be sure that's ok.

How do you get away with ordering from the kids menu?. My surgery is Monday so I have time until I’m there but curious
