I had my sleeve on 12/13/2022 and after 30 days I have lost 25 pounds. Where should I be with calories in? Right now I am averaging 400 to 600 calories a day with Protein target 61 GMs (I don’t always achieve) fat 33 GMs and carb max 33 grams (which I never achieve). Water intake 32 oz daily. I just can’t eat or drink more. I know I know 25 pounds in 30 days is good but I guess I thought weight loss would be quicker especially at first. HW 255. SW 237. CW 211.6

Here's what my Kaiser handbook says you should be in terms of calories, Protein & Water intake!

most of us who aren't the size of the people on "My 600 lb Life" seem to lose somewhere in the 15-25 lb range the first month. Of course, you'll always find exceptions to that, but that seems to be about average - so you're on the higher end of that. I started out more than 100 lbs heavier than you, and I *only* lost 16 lbs the first month. So you are doing very well!

Drinking my favorite Premier Protein Shake for breakfast, and planned a nice healthy lunch today. Protein first, Veg second, then fruit, and carbs last.  💪

Hello, I am 53 years old and just in the beginning of my process.  Lost my required weight prior to surgery, Psychological evaluation completed, meet with surgeon, meeting monthly with dietitian and now waiting for the perapproval from insurance.  Hoping for April or May.  Still to do on my list is joining a support group.  My weight loss clinic has one but I would like this as an option too.  I will be having the gastric sleeve surgery.  Excited for this journey.   Thanks for your support.
