Stabbing pain under left rib

Post op 5 days. After walking around store I got a sharp pain. Like a stitch when you run. Figured I overdid it. Came home and it's still there. If i move around it stabs bad! Could this be gas? Or is it a sign of something I'm unaware of? I can breathe ok. I'm just using my heating pad now.

I agree call your doctor to be sure but it likely is rising surgical gas. The gas they pumped you with rises & settles behind your lungs & presses on nerves causing discomfort especially in the shoulder region. Heat packs usually help.
