Hello Friends!

My name is Tracey and I am from Arizona. I am having my lap band surgery on December 28th. I am looking forward to it, but a little nervous.

Just wanted to drop in and say hi to everyone!

Hi Tracey, and welcome to LBT! Wow, your date is getting close. Does your doctor have you on a liquid diet? Let us know if you have any questions, we are here to help and support one another.

Hi Susan-

Thanks for your response!

Yes, I am on that awful liquid diet! I have the most HORRIBLE headache today from it too!

How long after op. did you have a 'full' feeling when you ate? How long did it take for you to be able to eat 'normal' foods (I really want some hummus!)

Thanks again-Tracey

Hi Tracey! Good luck on your journey!

Hi There Neighbor!

I am going to the Weight Loss Institute in Tempe. They are higher priced, but it includes 3 years of monthly support groups, pre and post counseling, free personal trainer for 3 years and all your doctor visits. I felt comfortable with my surgeon.

I live in Queen Creek! How far along are you in the process?

Merry Christmas Tracey and to all who read this.

Tracey, I live in Prescott and will be banded on 1/31/2008. So I will be really interested in hearing from you on how the LB is going. I am having it done at Scottsdale Shea. I will keep you in my thoughts and hope you have a very successful journey!
