issues

Hi everyone: Long story but my daughter is special needs and had to have the sleeve and herina 3 weeks ago . She was doing really good first few days. But now issues. Been twice for fluids. She has come to a point will not eat or drink anything. and has the like dry cough all the time. If i make take water, it like almost stuck. and coughs and tries to bring up. Doc said more fluids today. Just wonering if anyone else has had and or what they did to get over? I had surgery years ago but not this issue.

I am new to these forums and have not yet had my surgery. Read your post and noticed no replies or follow-up from you. Have to ask (because I’m worried) how your daughter is doing now? Is she still having trouble getting water and other good fluids down? Sending good thoughts your way.

I think the OP may have posted this twice because I have responded to this already. My suggestion was to get their family doctor to help advocate for her with the surgeon assuming he is aware of what’s going on and more familiar with the patient.
