Horrible side pain

For the last 3 days (5w post op)I have had this horrible side pain. it’s about 1inch below my port incision. My DR can’t see me for 3 more days but sometimes it’s so horrible I can’t pick up my arms to wash my hair or even walk. It feels like a stabbing, deep pain that sometimes will have me in tears… anyone else?

  • Go to your emergency centre. You shouldn’t be experiencing pain like that. Could be a gall stone? Could be something related to your surgery but go to a hospital.

  • I agree. Especially if you are five weeks out already. That doesn’t sound normal. Better safe than sorry.
