Post-op diet question

Hi everyone!

I had my surgery on August 9th and and was wondering how many calories should I consume per day at this stage?

I’d also like to understand a little bit about the typical quantities of meals.

I was told by my nutritionist that I should aim for 4-6 oz per meal and eat every 3 hours but I’m struggling to get down more 3 tsp per meal, is this normal at this stage post-op?

Maybe if you are on soft or regular diet you should step back to puree and it may help a little. You may just not be healed as much as you should.

I take small bites and chew well but I suspect that I eat too quickly. I keep trying different things to see what will work, it sorta feels like a long journey but I’m hopeful.

Thank you!
