I have to admit this is a lot harder than I expected it to be mentally and emotionally. I know I need to reach out and connect with all I want to do is isolate. I need help I need support I just had surgery on the 23rd I got home yesterday and today is my first full day back. I find myself irritable and yelling at my kids. I just don't know what to do

Oh gosh, it gets so much better! Days 2 & 3 were the worst for me and I rapidly improved after that. Hang in there!

The first few days are really rough as you get used to not being able to turn to food for your emotions. At least it was for me. I had to learn how to deal with head hunger vs true hunger. And yes, I slipped up a few times in the beginning. Now I’m doing really well at almost 8 months PO and over 100 lbs lost. It has been worth the difficult start. Remember, you can do it! You got this!
