    I also adore my Apple Watch for fitness tracking. Some of the older versions are more affordable and you probably don’t need anything but the WiFi version. The WiFi version links to my phone for texts

I bought a Xiaomi mi band for special $29, it did what all the other ones did for it's time, it's just not a big brand name. With a lot of brands now, you're just paying for the label. I've been using it for 4 years with no issues, I was planning to upgrade to the next model once it breaks, but it hasn't yet. I had a fitbit before, paid 6x and it broke after a year. Brother had the same issue as me, so i think i'll give him my old Xiaomi band and get the newest one :)
