I am scheduled for May the 3rd!

With the current lockdown in TO, not sure if Surgery will be postponed or stay put!

Hope all goes well. Kinda excited for the new journey and kinda nervous too!

Mini gastric bypass is similar to RNY except that it has 1 joining (anastomosis) instead of 2 with the RNY bypass. Surgery and recovery are a bit quicker as a result.

It has pretty similar results, although RNY is still considered the gold standard.

My surgery is on May 24th so I just finished day 2 of my liquid diet!

Wish me luck! I’m in pre-op. Surgery to start at 7:30. I’m nervous and excited. I just want this to be over with.
