katevee got a reaction from Losing in in 2021 in May Surgery?!Mini gastric bypass is similar to RNY except that it has 1 joining (anastomosis) instead of 2 with the RNY bypass. Surgery and recovery are a bit quicker as a result.
It has pretty similar results, although RNY is still considered the gold standard.
