Help

Hi I had my surgery on March 30th was in the hospital 48 hours and everything went fine until the day I got home I begun having cravings for food so I caved in and ate two Ritz crackers very chewed up and day by day it has gotten worse I've ended up eating chips eggs Pizza of course small bites just to get it over with and also chewing the food just to get the texture and then spitting it out in the sink so I won't swallow it I am very ashamed and I need help if someone could give me some advice that would be so grateful I don't want to mess up this opportunity I received to get my life and be able to be with my children for a long time please anyone any advice would it be helpful thanks.

this is the one chance in life that you're going to have to lose your excess weight quickly and (fairly) easily. The "magic" won't last, so this is your big opportunity. Don't blow it. If you don't have a therapist, I'd sure look for one.

Don't beat yourself up too badly. We all have food issues. That's why we had surgery.

I'm not sure which surgery you had, but can you eat protein instead of what you're eating? When I had cravings I would just eat and eat and eat protein. Now, your insides are still healing so I doubt a steak or hamburgers would sit that well, but I'd have to recommend it over what you're eating now.
