Period nausea??

Does anyone else throw up now when they’re about to start their period? I’m 5 weeks out from surgery and I’ve been throwing up for a week, and I just started my period today. Could it be related?

did you have bypass or sleeve? If bypass, there's a chance it could be a stricture - but in either case, I'd contact your clinic and just let them know what's going on.

Mini bypass. I told them what’s going on and they said I’ll be fine just go back to clear liquids until my stomach settles. I have regular bowel movements so they said it’s not blocked, but I can’t stop throwing up. No fever or anything though

OK - maybe you just need to move slower through the phases or something - your stomach isn't ready. How long have you been back on clear liquids?

3-4 days I think. They told me to stick with water and Pedialyte popsicles until I stop throwing up
