No change in taste

I am 8 weeks postop and everything tastes just like it was before. Protein shakes not too sweet. Nothing tastes funny. Maybe I'm just lucky.

    Nice! To be honest I'm not sure my tastes have changed either, it's more just what sits the best in my belly the most comfortably [emoji23] like if I eat something that hurts or just doesn't quite sit well I almost develop an aversion to it

    I'm 2 weeks postop VSG and my first taste change was increased sensitivity to salty foods.

    Then yesterday my beef bone broth that I liked 2 days ago tasted like boiled star anise.

    No change to my sweet taste buds so far.
