How long does it take for the sorness to go away..i walk daily and just returned to work last week..4 wks post-op 6/12

Is your soreness your entire stomach or around your incision sites? My soreness went away almost immediately. Did they give you any pain meds to take? If the pain is around your incision site you may want to call your doctor. You may have an infection in there somewhere.

I am probably in the minority because it seems like many people on these boards bounce back almost immediately. but for me it took about 2 weeks before the stomach soreness got better...at that point I could still feel the stomach but it didn't hurt if that makes sense...it took about 3 week before I resumed my yoga routine. when I did certain poses, I could feel it a little. now at a little over a month out I don't feel anything. I took all my meds as directed.

Day 7 and I still feel pain bending over and coughing. The mornings are rough but I think it's because I go awhile without pain meds. Still hurts to sleep on my side.
