Starting

Im just starting my journey. I had my first nutrition appointment a month ago and have my first dietician appointment in a few days. Nutritionist didn’t really put me on a diet. She gave me guidelines on what to eat, not to drink when eating, etc. Ive been little slow in making changes first few weeks after seeing nutritionist.

I was wondering how others started out at first.

Are you doing the six month follow up thing? I did the six month thing for my insurance and I did an elimination diet so that I would prepare myself for not being able to eat certain foods after surgery. First month I cute back portion sizes and stopped eating seconds. Second month I cut out soda. Third month I cut out rice. Fourth month I cut out pasta. Fifth month I cut out bread. Six month was potatoes, beans, etc. and just maintaining my diet. I ended up losing 64 pounds on my own so I think I had great success with that! Good luck with your own journey!

I have the 6 month as well. Plan is to do same as you cut something out each month and get ready. Little slow starting with that but I did have all my medical tests done ✅ waiting on sleep study results. ThanK you for your reply.
