Wondering WHY I did it!

Hello all:

I underwent gastric sleeve surgery on February 26, 2020 so I'm just about 4.5 weeks out. I'm following diet rules to the letter and ingesting at least 60 ounces of fluid daily. I have lost 13 pounds in the 4.5 weeks. I read about others who have lost 24 or so in the same time period. I don't know what earthly good going through holy hell with the surgery did. I asked my surgeon if she was successful in removing most of my stomach and she said she was certain that she did. I average about 600 - 700 calories daily. The only positive thing I can think of about the surgery is that I cannot eat TOO much. I did that once and I suffered. Still wondering why. It was terribly painful, and I had a lot of nausea. Don't know if it was worth it.
