Heating Pad for incision pain

Hey post op people...did any of you use a heating pad for incision pain or on your shoulders due to trapped gas? I'm walking and moving, trying to hydrate and resting.

I need to alleviate some of the discomfort and pain...I also have gas relief pills that I want to take.

Only thing i used was some CBC lotion but i had no pain, You really have to walk the gas out, Keep moving bend over as much as you can, twist around but walk walk walk,

I see no reason a pad can not be used

Thank you AJ. I'm moving and the gas is moving slowly. I finally got a mini nap when I used the heating Pad today. I'm burping a little bit.

I watched a video on YouTube and this woman recommended activated charcoal tablets for gas and bloating and OMG! It helped me sooo much. I found them at Walmart. I have not put heat or ice on my stomach but it sounds nice. I didn’t even think about the gas causing shoulder pain which I def had. Hope you feel better soon.
