My dr made me get off of all rheumatoid arthritis meds a month before surgery. My RA flared up so badly I could barely walk. I ended up having to take 3 months of disability. I couldn’t eat (mainly because of the RA) and lost a lot of weight quickly. Just beware if you find yourself in the same situation. I soldiered through with lots of help from my mom and boyfriend, but it wasn’t easy.
On a side note, I also have the runny nose issue I’ve read about on here. Does that go along with auto immune issues?
