First day home - it hurts. How long?

I’ve been trying to stay on top of the pain med, liquids, and protein. The pain is unbearable at times. I think it’s gas. Anyone know how long this will last?

If it is gas, you need to walk it off. I don't know how long it will last.

Otherwise call your doctor and see what they say.

It's an individual thing. People who get up and walk around seem to be pain free sooner. I had the same issue with gas and water gain, horrible pain!

Going to be a rough few weeks but it does lighten up - Trust me on this one for sure - Walk SIp SIP walk move move walk walk - The more you move and get up and around the better - I would not be doing protien 48 hours out of surgery - I would focus on water more then protein -

GOod luck and it does pass, Yes it sucks
