Pouch dont feel tight when I eat..

When I eat it feels like my food goes straight down then settles on the lower left side and it burns. Has anyone had this happen? I dont know if it's normal or not. I've never had it happen before.

  • How long have you been out from surgery? Does it go away with antacids? You should probably see your surgeon.

Sometimes I've experienced the same thing except it's not a burn but rather a sharp pain. I've consulted my doctor and he believes the pain will stop when I'm completely healed because that's the area i had the most scar tissue. I had my surgery on 7/25 and I'm noticing that I'm not experiencing it as much.

My question to you is did you have GERD? because the burning can be attributed to that.

I would love a non- tight pouch- I swear THE WAY Precious Pouch acts she might be made out of Portland Cement- she will not expand above 4-5 oz and I'm a Whole Year out- so I guess there isn't a whole lot of Hope there!
