Missing food today

Husband is grilling a big steak and I've just fixed his baked potato for him, starting my second week of full liquids. Just missing food today.

Congrats on your journey, I understand. I made ribs for my family today. Luckily I don't have any cravings.

This is only my first day. All liquids in preparation for surgery. I had to make food all day for my kids and for my husband. I have to admit this is just harder than I even anticipated. And I know I still have 13 more days of this. I know it will be worth it but right now it’s difficult.

Make sure you're getting high protein per drink :) protein will fill you up !

This too shall pass!

And d'you know what? - One day you'll eat steak and baked potato again (but just a little bit!).

I just never realized that the food smelled so good. I'm getting my protein I just can't wait for soft foods. Liquids are getting old. Not much difference between clear or full, just nothing to chew. Four more days and I can do this!
