Home Gym Recommendation

Hello all,

I have both a Schwinn exercise bike and a Schwinn eliptical and I'm very happy with both machines. I'm looking to add to my home gym and was wondering if anyone had recommendations for a home gym weight set. I was looking at the Marcy Smith and Bowflex items, but I just don't get the feeling of what is and isn't well made. Looking to keep it under $1K.
