Hooray! Another step towards surgery complete!

I know it's not alot of progress but I did the seminar in Sept and just did my consult and measurements today!

They scheduled my phsyc eval for 1/8.... After that I just have to wait till april when my dietitian appts will be complete... Such a long road but there will be an end I am sure. Every appt just makes it a little closer :scared:

All the "hoops" we have to go through are nothing when you think of the quality of life we're gaining!!

It took me seven months too, but the time really did fly (March to October) and luckily you have all the holidays to help the time whiz by.

Best of luck to you Brandy~

I had my consultation last week and it went terrific!

I don't have any co-mortalities (yet) so was told I could get banded within the next 30 days if I wanted. I just have to get financing in order since I am self pay. I can get my labs, dietitain and preop done all in the same week, then 2 week pre-op diet and I will be ready to go!

Hoping to get banded in late January. I wanted to be banded in late December but the hubby remided me that I have a few commitments that do not fit into a pre-op or soon after post-op way of life.

My hoops are getting smaller!!

It only took 7 & 1/2 months but I am scheduled for banding on Tuesday November 27th, 2007!

I have the sniffles. I live in a 'cold' state. Will this be enough for the doc to want to rechedule surgery? I hope not. Anyone?
