poll on left shoulder pain

I've been reading a few posts on left shoulder pain. This is not the stuff you feel after the surgery, from the gas, but pain felt possibly when you eat too much. I'd like to see how many people are having pain and when. Please also note on which side your port is on. Thanks!

OMG! I was so angry with myself for not speaking to my surgeon about this during my 2 week postop checkup.

I thought I pulled a muscle... I had no idea this was common!

I'm AMAZED!

For me it is not very frequent, and I notice that it's when I'm really hungry or have eaten too fast.

I can't believe this! I have had MRI's, nerve conduction studies, injections, and heart tests for this left shoulder pain!!! I have only mentioned the shoulder pain to my surgeon a couple of times (but got no feedback at all). I am calling my surgeon back tomorrow, something has got to be done. I have pain in my shoulder everyday, just about, to some degree. Sometimes it is excrutiating. I have never looked through the site until now, but you can bet I will from now on. Go figure...
