Hot Flashes

I'm 31 and nearly 2 years post-op, down 112. About a month ago I started experiencing hot flashes. I haven't had a period in 2 months. Did anyone else's rapid weightloss trigger early menopause? Are these symptoms of something else? I'm trying not to get in my head. Any help would be great.

Definitely talk to your Primary care Dr or Gynecology Dr about it. I'm 32 and had my surgery on the 1st of April and I'm already feeling changes during my cycle. Pre-menopause runs in my family and I've been told to watch for symptoms. My mother had her Pre-menopause start after she had her last child (me) at 30. My OBGYN told me that Estrogen stores in fat cells and that after losing large amounts of weight your body's hormonal balances can go haywire and cause lots of problems. Good luck no matter what happens in your future and great job on your WL!
