Did your surgeon give you a list of foods to eat? I believe on my plan I will be in a regular bariatric diet at 2 months, which means dense Proteins first, then veggies. Im not to eat any starch, sugars, or high fat foods. Good luck to you. If you have questions contract your surgeon's office.

You're not really restricted to what foods you can eat, but a sensible diet plan is suggested where you avoid fats, sugar, and starches and concentrate on getting in 60 g of Protein each day. Imagine a plate and fill it with 1/2 protein, 1/4 veggies and 1/4 grains/starches. You eat the protein first. If you're full, stop eating. If you're not full, move on to the veggies. Same thing, if you're full, stop eating. Always eat protein first.

Can someone tell me what i can eat 2 months out of sleeve surgery and is it normal to still have stomach and back pain

This may not be for everyone but in a typical day I would have a Protein Shake for Breakfast. A slice of ham or turkey wrapped around low-fat string cheese for mid morning snack a jif to go cup of Peanut Butter with an apple for lunch. A sensible dinner. Protein first always. I could only eat about 4 bites at a time. I would wait 30 mins and if I still felt hungry I'd go back to it. It's a mind game. Wrap your food up just as soon as u fill satisfied. Never eat till you fill full because by then you have overeaten. And make sure you don't drink when you eat. Drink plenty of Water. Which for me almost 2 years later is still hard to try and get it in. I haven't touched a soda or sweet tea since surgery. Stick to your diet low sugar mostly sugar free everything high protein don't overeat and you won't stretch out your stomach. I lost 100 lbs in 5 months. 1 year and 9 months later I'm down 130 lbs and I've kept it off. Hope this helps. Message me anytime if you need food ideas. Always helps to have a weight loss buddy. I had one.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
