Lost my restriction?

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I am not feeling any restriction after 10 months (RNY 2018 - had sleeve 2014), this happened directly after I had the flu where I ate ice cream and I had soda. I usually eat 3 ounces per meal 2x a day and muscle milk for Breakfast. After the flu 3 weeks ago I just don't feel any restriction whereas I could eat and feel satisfied, now I think I can just continue to eat more and have noticed I am now eating more than before if I don't measure. I don't have health insurance now so I can't see my Dr.

Is what you're eating considered a slider food? I can eat my Halo Top ice cream and never feel the same restriction I do with more solid foods like lean meats and vegetables. I have to measure it out because if I eat it straight from the pint I will finish the whole thing off. You can't rely solely on the size of your pouch to lose and keep the weight off. Too many 'bad' foods are things that slide through. You need to make sure you are making the lifestyle change and eating healthy, wholesome food.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
