Hi--

I'm 4 wks post band and still having some pain on Lt side from my

port site down to pelvic area. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this or if I've pulled something. Otherwise things are going good!

i get the same thing i am 6 weeks post op it feels like a pulled muscle or that i have been running and got running cramps alot i feel that way on my left side in the same area

WOW, I was going to ask the sam question. My pain is also on the left, but not near the port. It is straight across and down. It kinda feels like a stitch that you would get after running. It is there only after I eat OR drink anything. It's very strange. I am 2 weeks post op.

My first fill is on dec 3 in about 2 weeks. kinda scary but i think i need one soon. i don't feel full after i eat and i eat slow and not alot. hopefully after the first fill i will feel full. i will let you guys know about the question after i go. wish me luck .

Wow-I'm scheduled for my 1st fill Dec. 13. I,m starting to feel hunger

so I hope the fill will help with that

Hi there. I was banded 10/18/07 and have dropped 23 lbs already. My first fill is 11/28/07, and Im scared. I still have pain at my port site too on the left side. It sometimes goes to my groin and Im not sure if it's my back causing this or what. If I bend over to pick something up, or even to shave my legs in the shower, if feels as though the port is going under my ribs. I still can't lay on my stomach either. I hope it goes away soon. The other thing I've noticed is that my stomach seems to be indented where the incision is for the port. It feels wierd and looks lopsided. lol Do you have this?

Thanks and keep up the good work.

I've noticed the same thing my stomach seems to be indented where the incision is for the port. It feels wierd and looks lopsided also. I also have pain and connot sleep on my stomach or bend down or shave my legs...yeah! can't really do anything. I hope it does get better.

it almost feels like when you had a baby bump under your skin when you feel it through your skin its really weird i an sleep on my stomach at this point 7 weeks into this but i still feel the pull on mu left side that might be permanent im starting to adjust to all my new permanents lol!

Ah, gees. I was hoping the port pain would go away soon. I'm sick of it. I had to take the belt off of my uniform for work because it was hard getting in and out of the vehicle so much (2 dozen+ times per night). I can't bend down to do anything. If I want to reach my feet, I have to put my foot up on something, but even then it's at arms' reach. The pain/discomfort can radiate from my ribs down to my waistband. Huh. Guess it's just something else to get used to.
