Weight

So I have my 2nd visit with the surgeon next week. On that day I will also meet with the dietician and have my Psych eval. My insurance only requires 3 month visits so next month will be my last appointments. I’m extremely nervous about having my weight checked because I can’t gain any weight during this 3 months per insurance. Now I quit smoking 8 days ago and I just feel like I have gained weight due to snacking. I took Chantix for 2 days and didn’t like the side effects so I’m pretty much winging this cold turkey.

Did anyone gain weight between the first and second dr. visit ?

Your doctor will consider that you're quitting smoking when evaluating your weight. You're doing 2 wonderful things for your body at once! That's great! Good luck! You are not alone.

  • From what I understand my dr only submitted my initial weight and my last visit weight. I’d check with your surgeons office. If it’s the same for you it will set your mind at ease to know a little flu
