Post op Bloating

Hi everyone! Long time lurker here. Just had my gastric sleeve done on 2/20 and I was wondering how long your bellies stayed bloated and swollen? The pain is manageable but I cannot wait for this bloating to go away. I didn’t carry a whole lot of weight in my stomach to begin with and now I look like I’m 8 months pregnant. I realize it’s probably from the gas and swelling. Following instructions to the T; walk, sip, protein, vitamins, repeat. Just curious of everyone’s experience. 3 days post op and hoping it goes down soon!

It took me a month before I could wear the work pants that I fit into before surgery. Just gotta tough it out with the yoga pants for now. ((hug))
