I was downing horse pills right after my surgery. Never considered crushing or doing the applesauce thing. If you feel any resistance by your body, go to Plan B (crushing, etc.) Otherwise, carry on...

I didn't get gastric bypass (sleeved), but I was taking pills immediately after surgery in the hospital. My pain med is also a pill, as is my acid med they gave me. It's a little more difficult, but it's not too bad.

4-3 days. I tried Crushing them & mixing with applause but I couldn’t handle the taste! It was nasty!

Same for me, but I've had both sleeve and bypass.

Was taking oral medications post-op, the day of my surgery. I am now one month post-op and the first pills of the day are difficult to get down and sometimes painful.
