Waiting on Approval...

Sigh...the surgeon submitted my file to the insurance yesterday afternoon...right before Christmas...will this take a long time? I wonder how the holiday season will impact it? Do insurance...underwriters? Nurses? Work on Monday?
Is anyone else pining away over Christmas??
